This Privacy Policy applies to U-Manager — Client for Unraid, developed by Jandrop (the "Developer"). Your privacy is extremely important to us. This document explains what information is handled by the app and how it is protected.
U-Manager is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or device data to our servers or third parties, except as described in sections 4 and 5 below. All other processing happens locally on your device.
U-Manager requires certain information to function (such as server addresses, tokens, or configuration details). This information is:
We do not have access to this information under any circumstance.
U-Manager reads data from the Unraid server you connect to (such as system metrics, server status, or device information). This data is used solely to provide the functionality of the app and is not stored permanently or transmitted anywhere else.
U-Manager offers optional paid features or subscriptions. Purchases are processed by the platform store (Google Play or App Store) — we never see your payment details.
Like any app with in-app purchases, an anonymous identifier is stored to remember what you have bought, so you can restore your purchases at any time without paying again. This is the same mechanism used by every app on the App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to manage this, which receives only an anonymous ID, your purchase receipt, and the app version — nothing that identifies you personally. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
U-Manager offers optional push notifications to alert you about events on your Unraid server. This feature is entirely opt-in and can be enabled or disabled at any time from the app's settings.
Push notifications work the same way in every app on your phone: the operating system assigns your device a delivery token — a random code with no connection to your identity — and that token is used to route the notification to the right device. Without it, there is no way for any app to deliver push notifications.
This token is stored solely to forward notifications triggered by your own Unraid server to your device. No other data is transmitted. When you disable push notifications, the token is deleted.
The delivery infrastructure uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and Cloudflare Workers. You can review their privacy policies at policies.google.com/privacy and cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Beyond the services described in sections 4 and 5, U-Manager:
Any sensitive information stored locally — such as tokens or passwords — is protected using secure storage mechanisms provided by the device's operating system.
U-Manager is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect improvements or new app features. Updates will be posted on this page and become effective immediately.
